A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk. For our region, the best viewing time will be at approximately 2pm. The next total solar eclipse will be viewable in Michigan 20 years from now.
Spend the day with us enjoying our hands-on activities and explorations both indoors and outdoors focusing on science, history & the arts.
