Prague's Treasures is presented by the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra at 7 pm Saturday, November 5th at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts in Bay Harbor. This concert combines works by Mozart and Beethoven first performed, commissioned by, and dedicated to the capital of Bohemia. Mozart’s Don Giovanni Overture begins the concert, followed by Beethoven’s Concerto No. 1, featuring pianist Lorenzo Marasso, and Mozart’s (“Prague”) Symphony no. 38. A pre-concert talk by Libor Ondras, orchestra conductor and music director, starts at 6 p.m. in the Community Engagement Room.
