The Boyne Area Chamber of Commerce and The Boyne City Gazette are hosting a City Commission Candidates Forum at 6:30 p.m. Monday, October 28 in the Commission Chambers of Boyne City Hall. Three candidates are running for two positions in the November 5th election - incumbents Hugh Conklin and Tom Neidhamer plus challenger Barbara Young. All three candidates have confirmed that they will attend the forum. Chamber Executive Director Kim Akin and Gazette Publisher Chris Faulknor will be moderators asking questions of the candidates. The candidates will also make opening and closing statements. Boyne City Hall is located at 319 N. Lake St.
